Today was the Pirates in the Park at Cambier Park to benefit the C'Mon Children's Museum being built in Naples. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting. There was so much to do we didn't even get to it all, the only negative was it was like 100 degrees Blake had to abandon the costume half way through and toward the end they closed up early because of rain.
They loved the bounce house
The mermaid when you first came in
They let everyone make these awesome Sand starfish, first you pick out shells and glass
Then you push it down into the starfish shape and they pour plaster over it and tell you to come back in 30 minutes.
Humongous inflatable obstacle course with a slide at the end
Shawn playing knock down the pins
The fake mustache prizes were pretty cute
One of the finished starfish, I can't wait to try this on my own, I think I'll do the kids footprints
This is what was going on before I finished my coffee this morning. They are too funny. They made me do too, I wish I could have got a picture of that. Blake loves to show off what he learned in gymnastics and of course Shawn has to do it too.
Blake got to go over to his friend Meghan's house today for a playdate, 3 & 4 year olds partying hard on Spring Break.
Easter Morning at our house went well. I don't know how, but Blake forgot it was Easter when he woke up. Even though we talked about it right before bed and set out carrots and milk the for the Easter bunny. But that allowed us to let them play in Shawn's room while we got coffee, set up camera, etc.
They specifically asked for a Scooby Doo and Mickey basket. The only problem was they are super small and hardly hold anything.
Trying on their new masks
Tried the new color wonders bubbles from Crayola, seemed like a good idea and they are washable but we all looked like we were bleeding.
All the boys made their own slide out of sand and floats
Then they made a pool
We took a break to go down to the club for their annual Easter egg hunt, it was raining so they were just hiding the eggs when we got there. Shawn and Blake were peeking, and laughing about it.
With the Easter bunny, they wouldn't look up
The metallic eggs had real Sacajawea $1.00 coins, we got a couple, only at the Club, lol.
Cousins playing trucks, they are getting along....for the moment
The boys playing football and we are running out of light
