Go Steelers!

Today was the game to see if the Steelers go to the playoffs. Kevin's Dolphins are done so we can support my family team. We brought the fryer over to my brothers house and decided to make homemade fries. Sooo good, we may have made too many though. We went through 2 big bags of potatos, they were so good we couldnt stop eating them. I think everyone is french fried out for awhile. The good news is they won!

I ordered this corset top in Steelers and Dolphins on ebay in a small and they are way too big, I'm so mad because they are so cute!

Linus the Lamb

Blake had to bring a stuffed lamb home for the weekend and take him along wherever he went. Then he was supposed to write about it in a notebook. Kevin said I went overboard but I can't just write something in pencil. That's not my style. =)

Owen's Birthday Party

Today we went to my nephew Owen's 6th Birthday party. You know Blake and parties. It was a watergun maze party which they loved but it was a little cold too. They'd go in and then once they were soaked they came out freezing and curl up in a towel and then 2 minutes later be back in there.

Happy Birthday Mom!



Today is My Moms Birthday. We went to Capital Grill for dinner with the whole family. It was really good.  My mom hates pictures so I won't post any but check out this cool mousse cake my Dad bought her from Norman Love Confections. All the detail on the top and sides are Chocolate, can you see the glitter?



Starting Shower Decorations

We went on a run and saw a branch outside a neighbors house that they put out for trash and Kevin thought it would be perfect to make the branch tree I've been wanting to make for Sarah's Bridal shower. So when we went to get dinner we snagged it, it was alot bigger than I thought, it barely fit in the car and we got dirt everywhere but it'll be worth it. We have to cut that giant metal thing off of it and clean it up alittle.  I'm planning on painting it gold and putting it in a large vase and hanging crystals and maybe flowers from it.

Happy New Year!

 We had Blue Crabs at my parents for dinner at sunset. I haven't had them in forever, wow so good. Kevin won an awesome Playstation Move Party pack for New Years from Meetup.com. He was so excited. So after my parents we headed home to get the party started. The move did not disappoint, I liked the bocce game.

Date Night

Tonight my mom watched the kids while Kevin and I attempted to go see a movie at the SilverSpot at Mercado (best theater ever). We were going to see True Grit mainly because thats what lined up time wise, but it being touist season, it was sold out. So we decided to go downstairs to the Pub and eat dinner and have some drinks. Kevin got the beer sampler, little mini glasses so cute. We ate these awesome sandwiches, the bread was a pretzel and it was steak and cheese sandwich with dipping sauce and a fried pickle, yum.  It was a nice little break for a few hours.
