The Pumpkin Patch

The Lakes Park Pumpkin Patch is by far the best pumpkin patch in SWFL. This was our second year and even better than the last. They have a huge pumpkin patch with specialty pumpkins, lazer tag/inflatable haunted house, bounce houses, games, haunted train ride (Blake's Fav), haunted bike rides, spooky story reading, hay rides, and a huge playground.  The only thing they are still missing is the corn maze.

The Target Halloween Section

Blake has an obsession with the Halloween section at Target, worse than me. When he sees it he runs to it from across store. He has try out all animated toys and convinces me to get something different every time we go. I love it.

Skeleton Jammies: A Family Tradition

We started the tradition last year to all wear glow in the dark skeleton jamies, how cute are they?

Last Year

Painting and Candy Apples

 Today we made Jack o Lantern Stampers out of apples and did some painting on the deck. Fun and easy and the boys love to get messy

Then tonight we made Candy Apples. I haven't had these in forever. I didn't realize how sticky sugary sweet these are I felt like my teeth were screming out for help lol. We will be double brushing the kids teeth tonight.

Date Night

Kevin and I got a date night on Saturday which I could have used that day since the kids were acting up, Shawn threw his toothbrush in the toliet amoung other incidents. We went to McCormicks Seafood which I wasn't crazy about. After we went to Fright Factory of Naples. I was so excited to go my first haunted house of the season, it was pretty good.Tonight we had Paige and Matt and My Brother and Nikol over to do spooky gingerbread houses. I don't know how I always forget to get a photo of us together but I managed to snap one of my house.

Spirit Halloween: I've created a monster!

 We are a Halloween obsessed family so as soon as September hits every year I start stalking the Spirit Halloween Locations to see when they open and yes we went to all of them opening day. Blake comes by it honestly but we have to go almost every day now, he begs to go. If you have been in there it's pretty scary and he's scared a little but he likes it too it is the funniest thing, the second we leave the store he bursts into tears everytime begging to stay. I have to explain to him that we can't live in the store. It's not even October yet, the people who work the probably think were nuts!
