Blake is learning all about space this month. He's been saying is it a full or half moon tonight Mommy? This week they wanted each kid to build a rocketship and bring it in. I'm sure they were looking for the standard papertowel roll rocket. But we decided on Blake Lightyear.We made it out of cardboard then sprayed it green and put Silver Martha Stewart Glitter on the front with star stickers and styrofoam balls painted silver for detailing. Then printed the Blake Lightyear and Blakes face and attached it to his Buzz Lightyear. The rest was just different colored constructions paper. The bottom Rocket part is red plastic cups cut in half and then I made flames out of construction paper too. Blake was sooo excited when we were making it.
