We took the kids to the Holiday in the Park tonight and it was freezing and windy. The coldest this year, it felt like it anyway. It's a good event though they have a tree lighting, lights, falling "snow", a snow hill and sled slide, food, train rides, entertainment and visits with Santa where every child is promised a free toy. The free toy thing brings too many people out, it was packed. The kids had fun but toward the end Blake was crying because he was too cold and said he wanted to go home. That's a first. We drove through a few neighborhoods on the way home to see the lights.
